1855 Saloon and Grill

They have good food especially for the area. Cottage Grove is a bit out of the way from Madison and I wouldn't recommend going out that way just for this restaurant but the staff are nice and the food is decent. That makes it worth stopping in for a drink and something to eat if you're in the area. Nachos are worth it for a good sized group and probably more than enough for a main meal. Burgers and sandwiches are all pretty decent. Nothing will blow you away but the bar bumps it up a notch.

The food was okay. Service was very slow. The decor and cleanliness of the restaurant was great. Enjoyed time with friends here. Really wanted the food and service to be better. First time we've ever been here. Not sure if we'll go back or not.

I always come by purchasing some food here. I enjoyed the efficient service and well prepared food. 5 stars from me.
